Josiel is a very happy and playful child that lives with his parents and siblings in a rural community located at the South-Central part of Honduras which provides a nice and peaceful environment with suitable lands for the agriculture. They share a small four-room house of their own which is poorly built with mud and sticks walls, zinc roof and dirt floor; it lacks all the public services found in their location and they haul water from a well. Josiel is being assisted by the early stimulation program where his weight and growth are periodically monitored. Fortunately, Josiel has no mental or physical disabilities and stays healthy most of the time.
