Usman lives with his parents in a small community called Yogomaia located in the Northern Part of Sierra Leone. His father is a small scal farmer While his mother sells their farm impute in the local market and earn low income from their products. Some of the reasons behind their low production include lack of appropriate farming tools and poor soil fertility. The family lives in a four-bedroom adobe family house where they occupy one room. He is active and like to play with his friends; and always like to participate in domestic activities and shows interest that he is willing to learn. He always loves to play.
