I am pleased to introduce to you Tracy, a social and friendly young girl who lives in the northern part of Uganda. She lives with her parents and siblings in one of the remote villages where farming is considered the as the main source of income. Tracy walks a distance of 3 kilometers to the nearby community primary school that is poorly facilitated, with teachers who have low moral to teach as they are not well paid for the service that they offer. Therefore, given such environment, Tracy cannot perform well when it comes to time for school because the parents cannot afford a good school that is well facilitated or equipped with required and acceptable learning materials and teachers due to low income. Tracy and her family live in small grass thatched huts that are poorly ventilated that most times exposes them to respiratory infections, yet they are not able to treat themselves. Her parents are farmers who get very little from the crops that they harvest because they also have a very small piece of land to cultivate. She likes playing netball with her friends during her free time and this has made her happy most times.
